Login & Credit Card Application
The VBC Credit Card Application is secure and easy to use. To login go to the "VBC User Porthole". Enter your username and password. Your username is usually your 086 fax to email number. If you forgot your password – click on “forgot password” and follow the steps. If you are an active user you would be prompted to key in the onscreen security image.
Accept Credit Card Payments via SMS
The VBC user can also make use of a cell phone for a credit card transaction. By smsing 33763 and enter in the following message example:
go pin 123456 collect from 27831234567 type visa card 4111222233334444 expiry 0711 cvv 123 total 123.45 zar
When completed transaction status would be communicated to the VBC usere via sms.
Mobile Credit Card Transaction
The VBC user can also make use of a fixed line telephone for a credit card transaction by dialling the following number 086 221 1002 and following the prompts. The VBC user will effectively follow the same procedure as the web process. The IVR, which is an automated response facility, will notify the VBC user whilst on-line as to whether the credit card transaction has been successful.
