How does the PC to Fax - Desktop Faxing Solution work?
PC to Fax is an application that is installed on your Desktop or PC.
When you have completed the install the PC to Fax application will appears as a configured printer in the printer folder and will be listed in the printer menu.
There are two options available when choosing your PC to Fax account.
You will have the option between a Prepaid or Corporate account.
In this section we only look at the Prepaid user. The only difference between the two are:
Prepaid - 1 user = 1 account, Corporate - 20 users = 1 account. If you are interested in a Corporate user account, and would like some more info please feel free to contact us.
With the PC to Fax printer driver "fax driver" installed, your account in a positive and an active internet connection you will be able to fax documents from all most any application that allows you to print.
Getting PC to Fax Sorted.
Purchasing & Register PC to Fax
Click on the "Register for PC to Fax" link at the top of the PC to Fax page to get started.
On the Registration page you will be asked for you details, choose a username & password and select the air time amount that's going to work for you.
After you have submitted your registration request you will receive an email with payment details.
Once payment has been received your account will be credited with the amount paid. Please remember that a setup fee applies when you register for the first time.
Activate your PC to Fax account
You will receive an email welcoming you to PC to Fax. In this email you will receive a pin number & link to activate your PC to Fax account. Click on the link and follow the instructions.
Download & Install the PC to Fax driver
After you have activated your account you will need the fax driver that's going to make every thing happen from your end. To download the fax "printer" driver go to http://www.faxemail.co.za/pc2fax/d_register.htm , enter your detail and start the download. A Screen will appear asking you where you want to install the PC to Fax printer driver.
Select and click the Next Button. The PC to Fax printer driver will now be download onto your computer. Finish the download by clicking on finished. The software is now loaded onto your computer and you are ready to start sending faxes from your computer.
Sending Digital Faxes with PC to Fax
To send a fax please follow the instructions below.
1. Open up the document that you wish to fax
2. Select File
3. Select Print
4. Select Name drop down box
5. Select PC to Fax - Fax Driver
6. You will be prompted to enter in Recipients fax number.
7. Enter in Password
8. Click OK to send.
The fax will then be delivered to the recipients fax machine and you will receive a delivery notice confirming delivery of the fax sent |
